Bailey Painting Restoration Project
Bailey Paintings Restoration Project
In 2005, a conservation survey of the entire collection of Bailey paintings held by the Maui Historical Society was completed by Larry & Rie Pace, of Pace Art Conservation LLC of Honolulu. Since 2006, we have raised funds to restore 12 paintings. The Maui Historical Society continues to raise funds to complete the restoration of the remaining twelve paintings in the collection. Through this restoration project, the Maui Historical Society will ensure that the cultural roots and history that defines the community will continue to be here for future generations.
